概要	Purpose: We previously reported intravitreal anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) therapy was not effective for about 10% of the patients with exudative age-related macular degeneration (AMD). For those patients, we usually choose photodynamic therapy (PDT) but it is sometimes impossible to cover the whole lesion in case the lesion was too large or too close to the optic disc. We reported the 2-year results of the modified PDT at the 51st Japanese Retina and Vitreous Society in 2012. In the current study, we investigated the 3-year results of the therapy.
